For the kids upcoming birthdays Gamma and Papa took them to build a bear. It was a wild good time. They each had a lot of fun watching their bears get made. Noah’s bear is Firman Sam, Ezra’s bear is Fireman in a truck, and Abby’s is Abigail.

Pumpkins and Butterflies – 2012
Yay I got all three kinda looking at the camera. Last week we went to the pumpkin patch at the botanical gardens. The weather was much nicer this year (80s, last year it was 100!). We had a lot of fun. Bonus this year they had a firetruck to look at!

Halloween 2011
This was the first Halloween that the boys understood what was going on and it was really a lot of fun. We explained trick or treating on Saturday and Ezra was ready to go! When it came to actually doing it they were so shy and quiet. Which really shocked me because they talk to everyone when we go out.
We carved pumpkins on Sunday with my family. Went trick or treating and then went Gamma and Papa’s to show off our costumes, the boys helped hand out candy (I think they liked this the best), and then home to check out our candy.

mmmm Swamp Juice 
Eyeballs and fingers. The last couple of photos are some snacks I made for play school on Friday and some balloons we decorated with on Monday. We really had a lot of fun this year. Here are the glow balloons we used for decoration. The swamp juice recipe and the eyeballs (the fingers are just cheese and almonds, you can use a food safe marker or other decorating gel for the knuckles.)

Last Friday we took a little field trip to the Desert Botanical Gardens. We visited the pumpkin patch and saw the Monarch Butterflies. Gamma, Papa, and Abby joined out. It was a lot of fun!

Easter Photos
We had a busy Easter weekend. It started out Saturday morning with the Easter egg hunt put on by our church. Lots to do there including a mini petting zoo, egg hunt, and Ez’s favorite, popcorn. Saturday after nap we went to Papa and Mema’s to hunt more eggs, dye eggs, eat yummy food, and run around like crazy. Sunday we went to church, over to Papa and Mema’s for lunch and then back home to chat with Nana, Papa, Julie, and Matt’s grandparents. They then refused a nap and were in bed by 7!
