Noah & Ezra turn 3

It’s hard to believe, but our wonderful boys are 3!. They are getting so big and so smart. They count to 30 with little issues, say please and thank you very well. If anyone sneezes or coughs within 20 feet of them they immediately say bless you. They know their ABC’s like the back of their hand, and even draw some letters and numbers when coloring. I love how quickly they are figuring stuff out. They still love thomas the train and lightening mcqueen. They spend a lot of time playing fiarly well together, trains, cars, mud in the back yard, riding bikes, and jumping off of stuff. They are still brothers and toddlers so they do have their moments, but all in all they are wonderful little boys.

We spread their birthday out a bit over the weekend. Train themed birthday party on sunday, complete with a kid sized track and wall tunnel. They boys loved it.

Then on to the cake! All week they kept wanting their fire. Not just candles, they wanted their very own fire to blow out. It was funny.

Monday (their actual birthday) We went to the zoo. They had a great time seeing some of their favorite animals. As always we took a few pictures to share!

2nd Birthday Party

Running around in circles while dancing and screaming

We had the boys’ birthday party yesterday and it was a beautiful day. We had a lot of fun and the boys were WILD. I think they were super excited to have so many of their favorite people all together.

My wild but happy Noah

Ez was super wild the whole party

Abby all tangled with the balloons

Ez reading a card, he really loves cards.

The boys received trikes from Nama and Papa (my parents) and it is one of those moments I wished we had the video camera rolling. They were beyond excited when they saw them.

Ez blew out all the candles this year, Noah just stared and occasionally tried to touch them.

Grandpa’s Birthday

Fathers’ day was also my dad’s birthday. We celebrated with cake and presents! Happy Birthday Dad!

We're going to have cake happy dance.

I can't wait another second for cake!

The cake, sorry this was the best pic I had.

The ice cream cake had little cones on top, perfect for toddlers.

Some on my arm, now to lick that off!

First D-Backs Game

For Grandma’s Birthday we decided to give her a d-backs game with the boys. The boys had a lot of fun and we hardly saw any baseball. Ezra sat and watched the big screen, clapped, and danced with Grandma and Daddy. Noah on the other hand wanted to run.

IMG_7606 We went up to the Sandlot, he ran around screaming (happily) and then kept trying to escape.

We then went back to our seats so we could have some dinner. We all ate like pigs and had way too many calories. We even let the boys try some of our lemonade.

Wahoo! Abby is 1!!!

Abby turned 1 on New Year’s Eve!  I cannot believe it has been a year already.  It has been a great year watching her grow.  I love that her and the boys are so close in age, it makes for some wild but fun times!

Auntie Michelle’s carrot cake cupcakes were a big hit.  Here are some pics from the party.

Making Sushi

I am not a super creative person, but I do have dreams of making super cute crafts for/with the kids.  So when I saw this pattern on etsy I knew I just had to make it for Abby.  Michelle loves sushi and I thought it was a perfect gift for mom and daughter to play with together.  I, of course, procrastinated until the last minute to do it, luckily I had my cute husband to do all the cutting (and even some of the sewing).

Here is the finished product:

It’s not perfect, but I am still happy with it and actually had fun doing it.  (we also still need to do the tea cup and the sauce plate.)  It has also inspired me to make more felt food for my guys.
